The Female Orthopedic Empowerment Program (FOEP) is a mentorship program designed by Orthopedic surgeons for junior female trainees and medical students, to give guidance and create an empowering environment for them to realize their career development in Orthopedic surgery.

Why we do it
We believe an orthopedic mentorship program for women in Africa is not just about increasing representation; it's about fostering an inclusive and equitable environment where talented women can reach their full potential, contribute meaningfully to the field, and ultimately improve healthcare for all.
